We have several stacks of 3750's. I need to run a inventory report to
gather information of every switch in our stacks. I am using cisco works, and I can run a
report which pulls back information for the master, but not the other switchs, what could be the problem.

The report always pulls back information for the entire stack. If you look at the Detailed Device Report, you'll note two sections. The first is the "Stack Information" section. It will contain the high-level stack overview. For example:
1 Catalyst 37xx Switch Stack cevStackCat37xx Cat37xx Stacking PID : Cat37xx Stacking Catalyst 37xx Switch Stack VID : SN :
The second is the Chassis Information section. This section lists out each individual stack member with its serial number:
1001 WS-C3750-24TS CAT1102RGUR cevChassisCat375024 WS-C3750-24TS-S 1 0 0 0 V05 false PID : 1 WS-C3750-24TS WS-C3750-24TS-S VID : V05 SN : CAT1102RGUR
2001 WS-C3750-24TS CAT1102RGUU cevChassisCat375024 WS-C3750-24TS-S 2 0 0 0 V05 false PID : 2 WS-C3750-24TS WS-C3750-24TS-S VID : V05 SN : CAT1102RGUU
Since stacks are logically handled as a single device, the other sections will appear as any other device. You will see a concatenated list of interfaces, containers, power supplies, etc. across all stack members.

Yes, it does give the information, but is there a way to run a report just to give the chassis information of the stack. What we are looking for is just getting an inventory of the switches in the stack, along with there serial number and software version, with out all the other information involved.
