Hi all,

When we try to login to LMS we get the error mention below, (by all user ID created on LMS).

This happened after we upgraded the ciscoview icons recommended on the upgrade window of LMS.

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /cwhp/cwhp.applications.do on this server.

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

please advice.

Post the output of the pdshow command from the server and screenshots of your Services control panel showing all of the CiscoWorks services.

Hi,

Please find the attached doc.

Hope this will help us toward solution

Thanks for response,

Raj

The only services that should be automatic are :

Ciscoworks Daemon Manager

CWCS rsh/rcp

CWCS syslog

CWCS tftp

put the rest back to manual.

Then restart the Daemon Manager

cheers,

Michel

Hi,

Done as instructed but no luck.

any other recommendation.

Raj

Well, it seems you started the apache service by yourself (why?), but only the daemon manager should be started.

And normaly after a reboot it would

I notice however that some COM + event system is still starting... not sure what that means (not ciscoworks related)

Anyway looking at the services thing should be ok if you start the deamon manager or reboot the machine

Cheers,

Michel

after reloading the server wait at least 20 mins and then see the services they should start automatically especially deamon manger .... and tehn try to run use the LMS application,,,,

if in services u observed that the deamonmanger is not started automatically then start this.. and wait for atleast 15 mins ....
