LMS 3.1 - Unable to communicate with some devices

Hi,

We are running LMS 3.1 (test server) and LMS 3.01 (production). Both servers are on the same subnet.

My production server is able to communicate with our device in China, however, our test server seems to be having an issue.

I added a line into the ACL on the device in China which logged all requests from the sunet our servers are in. In both instances, I saw the ACL being hit. However, the test server returns a "device unreachable" error.

The device is pingable from the test server.

I will be setting up a sniffer on the t4est device to make sure that the data is being returned.

If you have any other thoughts on this, that would be appreciated.

Regards,

Doug

The sniffer trace will be helpful. A "debug snmp packet" on the device might also be helpful.

You might also try using the SNMP Walk tool in Device Center to walk "sysObjectID" on the device. It could be that the network is blocking the return SNMP traffic.
