Recently we upgraded our management station from windows server 2003 running LMS 3.1 to Windows 2008 64bit LMS 3.2. The license file was taken from the CSCOpx folder on the 2003 server and was used in the install.
After the installation the portal is accessible but has several licensing errors. I have also noticed that the CiscoWorks Daemon Manager service will not start, I am not sure if this is the result of an invalid license file or whether the service not starting is the cause of the licensing errors. Below is the Error that appears when trying to start the service.
Windows could not start the CiscoWorks Daemon Manager service on Local Computer.
Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.
This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
