I am running Cisco Works LMS 4.0 on Windows 2008 SP2 after successfull installation I succeffully applied the LMS Patches. After appling patches I am unable to open the LMS Server via HTTP and gives me HTTP Status Error Apache/Tomcat 5.5.29 - Error Report.
I already apply the following patches:
9. lms40x-win-CSCto46927-0.zip (Fallow the Cisco Support Community discussion 3390718)
These issues can be due to some corrupt ssl settings. I would recommend to regenerate the SSL certificate and enable ssl too, to use https once to fix this issue, you can disable it once LMS works fine.
Use the following procedure :
1. Stop the daemon manager
2. Regenerate the SSL certificate (Dont forget to start you shell/command prompt session as Administrator):
a. *Remove server.* files under NMSROOT\MDC\Apache\conf\ssl (take backup of all 4 files before deleting).
b. *NMSROOT\bin\perl NMSROOT\MDC\Apache\ConfigSSL.pl -disable
c. *NMSROOT\bin\perl NMSROOT\MDC\Apache\ConfigSSL.pl -enable
d. *Fill all the details it request for.
*Ensure that the following files are created under NMSROOT\MDC\Apache\conf\ssl :
