LMS 4.1 new install win2008: swim repository directory missing

Hi all

I have just installed LMS 4.1 on a Win2008serverR2.

Getting started and discovery are OK.

Then I tried to configure all parameters under the Admin Menu.

I have a problem with SWIM : the "repository" directory does not exist !!!

I also tried to import an IOS file into the repository : no way.

How to check what's wrong?

How to rebuild the missing directory?

In c:\ on the server you find a log of the install of LMS.

That is a good place to start.

Cheers,

Michel

Hi all

Finally, since the "CSCOpx\files\rme\repository" directory did not exist, I manually created it.

At that point, I was still unable to import IOS into the repository.

TAC support solved it : the "CSCOpx\htdocs\swimtemp" directory was missing too.

After having manually recreated it + verification of full casuser permissions + restart, the problem was gone.

Useful log : CSCOpx\log\swim_debug.log

Regards

Caroline

Thanks for posting the solution.

I guess the LMS installation log missed the failed creation of these directories?

I hope everything else is OK wtih your LMS.

Cheers,

Michel
