Hi All,
We are observing high CPU utilization on the lms server. tomcat is the process eating more than 1GB of the memory i checked from the task manager.
Server details:
device license : 100
windows server 2k8 R2, with 8gb physical memory.
anybody suggest what might be causing the issue.?? because of this performance reports were affected.
Regards,
Channa

Hi Channa,
have you tried to rebooted the server ? If not then can you try to reboot the server and see if makes any difference.
Also share the output of "pdshow -brief" before you reboot the box.
Thanks-

1. Here is the query to get the pollerwise managed MIBObjects:
"select count (*), PollerName from Poller_Details_Table a,Poller_Definition_Table b where a.PollerId = b.PollerId and b.Poller_State NOT IN (1) Group by b.PollerName;"
2. Here is the query to get the total mibobject count for the active pollers
“select count (*) from Poller_Details_Table a,Poller_Definition_Table b where a.PollerId =
b.PollerId and b.Poller_State NOT IN (1);”
Hope it will help
Thanks-

Hi Afroj,
Thanks for suggestion. post reload of the server we were able get the performance reports successfully.
but there are couple of Pollers for which the PDFreport file is not generated only CSV and html is generated.
Poller is having 800 objects added in it.
From the performance report documention i found below:
If you have selected more than the optimal limit of 10,000 instances the PDF format of the report might fail to generate
how to check how many instances were utilized by the poller. is that causing the PDF report to fail??

Channa
