LMS 4.2 (Fault Management Module)

Hi sir:

The LMS send mail alert to me , and the event is CPU High Utilization.

But the Current Utilization vaule is wrong.

How can I correct this problem?

EVENT ID                = 000M51T

TIME                    = Thu 06-Feb-2014 08:00:04 CST

STATUS                  = Active

SEVERITY                = Critical

MANAGED OBJECT          = 192.168.1.1

MANAGED OBJECT TYPE     = Security and VPN

Can you try to increase the Threshold and check how it works.

what is the threshold configured ?

Can you try to increase the Threshold and check how it works.

Hi sir:

The cpu utilization value should be between 1 to 100.

According to the message, the htreshold is 90% , but LMS detect the CurrentUtilization=3198607.

Kindly share  your server threshold settings..

Is there another way to check why it detect wrong value ?

Hi Hook,

It could be a false alarm , you can try delete and re-add the device in DFM alone.

1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.109.1.1.1.1.3.1  , you can do a direct SNMP WALK on this OID and see what 
values you get.
