LMS and kaspersky antivirus

Prepare for performance hit

Make sure to exclude the CSCOpx directory from the on access scan.

Hi Michel,

do you know which ports lms is gonna be allowed and does it efficient to put antivirus or their is another method to protect the server from viruses to avoid installing the antivirus and have a performance shock as you've said.

If the server is standalone and you allow acces to only LMS GUI then it is pretty hard for the server to get infected.

Allow from users only TCP 1741 443 and 42344

From devices SNMP TFTP TELNET SSH RCP SYSLOG and what else you use

I scan my servers from time to time but no antivirus doing on access scan is enabled on there.
