Solved: LMS config fetch

Hi,

we have installed a LMS 3.0.1. We have scheduled the pollings and the collections but we want to tune our LMS a bit more.

We want that LMS fetches the configs automatically just after making changes in those configs.

How could it be done? I've thought via syslog but I don't know exactly how to do it.

this is working out-of-the-box. You need to disable this function if you do not want it! It is setup in RME as an automatic-action (AA) for certain syslog messages. Control the settings here:

RME > Tool > Syslog > Automatic Actions

2 records should be there: 'Inventory Fetch' and 'Config Fetch' where the later is just doing what you want - if its status is set to 'Enabled'
