LMS hardware requierments

Hi,

We have LMS 3.0 (100 devices license )installed on a windows 2003 server.

The server is 2GB RAM and a Dual Xeon 2Ghz Processor.

This is the requirements from Cisco but the server is always using page file and grow up to 3.2 GB of RAM used.

Is this a normal situation ?

In addition the CPU is always 100% used due to GGScript. Does the new version 3.1 or later fix this bug ?

Cheers

Looks like it's a redux of your question from Jan. 2008. The bug linked to GGScript is reportedly fixed in LMS 3.1, per that old thread:

http://forums.cisco.com/eforum/servlet/NetProf?page=netprof&forum=Network%20Infrastructure&topic=Network%20Management&topicID=.ee71a02&fromOutline=&CommCmd=MB%3Fcmd%3Ddisplay_location%26location%3D.2cbf5e02

You're right sorry this point.

About the RAM usage have you feedback maybe about this utilization and the swap memory ?

Is it a normal behaviour ?

Since the prerequisite listed for the 100-device bundle specifies "1 CPU with 2 GB RAM memory requirement with a swap space of 4 GB", it would appear the 3.2GB you see is within the perimeter anticipated by Cisco.
