Hi,

We are using CAT 3750 series POE-48 switches with Cisco IP phones. Is

there a MIB veriable or trap available to alert when power consumption is more then the power supply or is overloaded?

We have had several incidents where this

occured.

Is it possible via CWLMS?

The pethMainPowerUsageOnNotification trap may be of use. This will fire if the power usage is above the pethMainPseUsageThreshold value is exceeded for 500 ms.

CiscoWorks Health and Utilization Monitor 1.2 will allow you to configure thresholds on PoE objects out of the box.
