Does anyone know, or has anyone heard, if Cisco will be replacing a Free Upgrade from LMS Prime 4.1 to 4.2? Or will this be a purchased upgrade?

Its "free" if you bought a SAS service contract.

If you have done that then a "free" new PAK can be downloaded via the product upgrade tool on CCO.
