LMS rcp issue

Hi

When adding devices to DCR via LMS dicovery ,it adds them successfully but unable to grab device configuration. On remote device I created a local cwuser and enabled rcmd rcp. There is no access list blocking LMS. the only difference is cwuser is a local user on device but deice itself is getting authenticated from tacacs , I also created a tacacs account for cwuser but no still no luck . In logs i am seeing this

Feb  2 04:15:00.009 UTC: AAA: parse name=tty9 idb type=-1 tty=-1

Feb  2 04:15:00.009 UTC: AAA: name=tty9 flags=0x11 type=5 shelf=0 slot=0 adapter=0 port=9 channel=0

Feb  2 04:15:00.009 UTC: AAA/MEMORY: create_user (0x871F94FC) user='' ruser='NULL' ds0=0 port='tty9' rem_addr='NULL' authen_type=NONE service=LOGIN priv=1 initial_task_id='0', vrf= (id=0)

Feb  2 04:15:00.009 UTC: AAA/BIND(00009CC8): Bind i/f

Feb  2 04:15:00.049 UTC: AAA/MEMORY: free_user (0x871F94FC) user='' ruser='NULL' port='tty9' rem_addr='NULL' authen_type=NONE service=LOGIN priv=1 vrf= (id=0

Please advise if RCP can work with tacacs , thanks for your time.

LMS rcp issue

You don't create a local user. the device is the client en LMS the server.

LMS telnets or ssh's to the devices and rcp's to itself via cli.

Cheers,

Michel
