Logging levels on Catalyst switches running CatOS -

The default logging level on a Catalyst switch running CatOS is a severity 4 -

Does this mean that any message that has a severity level greater than 4 will not be logged?

Take the message below for example, will these messages be logged or not?

That's correct. If you would like to modify the settings:

set logging server severity

set logging history severity

Of course, to check the current settings:

show logg
