Management of VG248 analog phone gateways

Hi all,

Is management of VG248s done only by Unified Operations Manager or does anyone know if CS LMS will provide support?

LMS does support these devices in the sense that they are visible in Campus Manager, and DFM can poll for events. The VG248s are also manageable by CUOM. In all cases, they must be running 1.1(2.1.5) or 1.2(1) or later.

Neither suite does config management for these devices.

since config backups are not supported...does anyone know how to remove them from the 'failed' list on the config archive management summary within RME?

You cannot other than not adding them to config sync jobs. However, system config sync jobs will fetch all managed devices, and this cannot be changed.
