Its not really designed to do anything but manage cisco devices, but there are some kinda sorta things you can use to do some marginal watching.
Campus can keep track of where they exist in the network, IPM can query them as endpoints or objects, DFM can watch the ports they connect to.
IMHO you should use something else.
