Monitoring High Speeds ports with Ciscoworks

We currently contract the monitoring of our domestic ports (T1 and above) using Cisco's Frame Plus service which includes dependance on leased/managed equipment such as a Kentrox, Zhone and now GDX Xedge multiplexers. Well, we're looking to move away from them for various reasons. However, in doing so, with regards to our 3MB and upwards to 12MB ATM locations, we need to be able to report/monitor partial outages, that is, if a single T1 within an IMA group should fail, we need to be notified on such a situation so we can open a ticket with AT&T & have them trouble-shoot & resolve a partial outaqe. We currently have CiscoWorks in place. Do you think CiscoWorks is capable of providing such a monitor or report? Would I be able to have it log something to this effect in say in Syslog ?? Anyone doing something like this today ? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Dan

DFM might be able to report failures to individual IMA links provided the individual interfaces go down, and their state is properly reported via ifOperStatus.

If you receive syslog messages for failing T1 interfaces in an IMA group, then you can also setup an RME automated action under RME > Tools > Syslog > Automated Actions. Using this, you can get an email alert (for example) when an interesting syslog message is received.
