monitoring network traffic

Hi all. I would like to know if there is any tool from cisco that you can download with cco id that you use for monitoring network traffic for bottlenecks, bandwidth hogging by PCs etc. Thks in advance.

Hello!

I think the closest to your description is Health & Utilization Monitor, a plugin for CiscoWorks LMS with which you can monitor SNMP OIDs (bandwidth, memory utilization, etc) on Cisco devices.

You can find plenty of freeware to monitor your network via snmp. i have used oppmanager, they have a free version performance manager.

also you can enable netflow on your routers
