I am evaluating an MSE device and I need to verify that the port is set static to gig/full. I can see the information that it shows when I execute the ifconfig eth0 command but I don't see speed and duplex. Any ideas what I would type in to get that or see if the port was set to auto? Also, if it is set to auto what is command to set it to static? Thanks in advance!
This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
