NAM - root access to Linux OS

Does anyone know of a possible way that access to the Linux OS that runs the NAM appliance code can be gained?

Thanks, I appreciate the input, strange request I know. A customer has messed up their network and was going to mess with the bind daemon in the NAM to try and rectify it. This is probably the response I wanted to hear..
