Folks,
I just installed RME 4.0 on windows 2003 server with english locale.
I am getting an error everytime i try to launch RME. The error says:
"Licensing server is down, please check License.log for details"
My locale is US english and i am installing trial version of cisco works
with common services and RME only.
Any help would be highly appreciated, I will surely rate this post.
Thanks

I believe the License.log is located in CSCOpx\log
What does it say?
Also, open a DOS shell and issue the command (case sensitive):
pdshow LicenseServer
What does it say?

Both look good.
What applications (and versions) do you currently have installed on this server?

Windows 2003 server dual boot with xp. Nothing else on 2003. I specially installed 2003 for Cisco works.
I have the trial version of Cisco works.
Thanks

By the way i only have 512 MB of memory in the machine, would that cause a problem?? All Ciscoworks services start automatically without problem.

Yes, that would cause a number of problems. The minimum requirement is 2 GB, and it really won't run on a box with less than 1 GB.
