I would like to deploy an enable password change across multiple switches (3560's)
When I select NetConfig > NetConfig Jobs > Create> select my Devices (3560-switches)> and I select a task from the Task Selector (Enable Password) Click NEXT > "I am unable to see the applicable tasks"?
RME = 4.0.5
LMS = 206
I just recently added the switches manually to the DCR which automatically gets dumped into my RME.
If I select another switch that has already been in the DCR/RME I can perform the same action in NetConfig and see the applicable tasks > and Finish the job with no problem!
I added 3 x 3560G-48TS (standard swiwtches) by going into Common Services>Device and Credentials > Device Managment>Selected Add
I am not able to use any other systems defined tasks on these 3 switches.
I tried selecting all tasks through NetConfig such as(Adhoc,authentication Proxy, Banner, CDP ,etc) for these 3 switches and when I select Next there are no applicable tasks associated with these switches.
If I select another 3560G-48 TS that shows up in my network and walk through the NetConfig process I see the applicable tasks. If I select banner (Banner shows up as an applicable task and I can move forward to the next screen to modify the banner and complete the job.)
Yes they are different, but both sysObjectIDs are supported in RME 4.0.5, and both point to the same available Netconfig templates. Check the Tomcat stdout.log under NMSROOT/MDC/tomcat/logs/stdout.log as well as the netconfigclient.log under the usual log file location to see if there are any errors that are displayed when reproducing this behavior.
This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
