Netconfig User-defined tasks

I have created a new user-defined task but each time I run this task through Netconfig it always states "Authentication failed on device 3 times".

If I create the same task through the Adhoc template it runs via netconfig with no problems.

Any ideas why I cannot run my user-defined task through Netconfig?

I run LMS2.5, RME4.0.

You need to enter device credentials before RME can collect the configurations.

The Adhoc job gives you the option to enter username/password credentials and this is different than the user-defined task

As mentioned above you should check the device credentials to make sure you have proper telnet and enable credentials for the device(s)
