Anyone else having a problem with the telnet and enable password templates using RME 3.5 ? You use the templates and the jobs then fail because it look like the switch doesn't recognize the format even though it looks correct and it fails the job. Looks like below even though this syntax looks correct it comes back as not recognizeing it . This for IOS devices . I ended up adhoccing a lot of the devices because the template would not work . It worked fine if manually adhocced the appropriate commands .

What RME IDU? There were some problems with multiple templates, but everything should be working fine in IDU 13.0. The only thing I could potentially see wrong with the above line is that not all devices support 16 VTY lines.

Get a sniffer trace, and make sure RME is entering the correct submode (i.e. config mode) before issuing that command.
