Hello All,
I was wondering what software everyone uses to collect netflow data when the server running is Linux based.
I currently use MRTG for simple mass network metrics, but I'm looking to use netflow data so figure out per protocl usage.

We use a commercial product, Netflow Analyzer. There are free ones though.

Hello,
you can use our netflow inspector:
http://www.caligare.com/netflow/cfi.php
which includes detailed search conditions, trends and statistics, network anomalies detection (DoS, flooding, worms, P2P, network games), etc.
Or you can use any competitor's product:
PeakFlow from Arbor, NTOP from Ethereal, Flowd from Mindrot, FlowTools from Splintered, etc.
Almost the complete list is available on:
http://netflow.caligare.com/applications.htm
Please, feel free to contact me directly for more information.
Kind regards
Jan Nejman
