Our WLSE has outlived its usefulness so I would like to turn it into another Network Management server. The guts are pretty basic and I have already installed new hard drives. I have tried installing both Linux and Windows on the system to try to get the system to connect to the network but neither recognize the onboard network adapter. Would anyone happen to know what the onboard adapter would be? I alos went to put some PCI network cards into the WLSE and use those, but none of the PCI cards I have fit correctly into the PCI slot on the WLSE riser card.
Any ideas? Right now I am evaluating management platforms so Windows or Linux drivers would be helpful. Thanks for any responses!
