Network Discovery

My CiscoWorks is the windows version and I have three problems here:

1. all devices runnning IOS 11.x are not

discovered completely.

2. Newer devices running IOS Version 12.x are discovered but they just appear as a green box with a question mark.

3. My Wireless Access points 1240 running IOS ver 12.3, are discovered as red boxes with a question mark.

My CiscoWorks comprises of the following.

CiscoWorks common services Ver. 2.2

Access Control list Manager Ver. 1.5

InterWork Performance Monitor Ver. 2.5

Resorces Manager Essentials ver. 3.5

Campus Manager Ver. 3.3

Device Fault Manager ver 1.2

CiscoView ver. 5.5

What should i upgrade here to get My NMS working properly?

There are many IDUs (Incremental Device Updates) available for the version of LMS/RWAN that you are running. See the following URLs:

You should upgrade all components to the latest service packs and IDUs. Beyond that, discovery requires CDP enabled on all non-ATM media, and ILMI enabled for ATM LANE networks. And, of course, SNMP needs to be enabled on all devices.
