Hello
I tried to put an other IOS on a 1721 but failed in doing this.
Flash was erased before putting the new IOS on it but I keep getting the message that there is insufficient memory.
In rommon I see:
rommon 1 > dir flash:
File size Checksum File name
8555996 bytes (0x828ddc) 0xd460 c1700-sy7-mz.123-13b.bin
With meminfo I see:
Main memory size: 32 MB.
Available main memory starts at 0x10000, size 32704KB
IO (packet) memory size: 25 percent of main memory.
NVRAM size: 32KB
So there is an IOS and there is sufficient space but what is going wrong?
Who can help me?
Thanks

I am not sure how you determined that there is sufficient space. When I look that release up in the software advisor I find that it requires 48MB DRAM which you do not have. Either you need to upgrade the memory on the router or you need to back down to a release that will fit into 32MB.

Hello Rick
I was convinced that the flash wasn't large enough but it is the ram.

Thank you for the quick response
