NME-NAM's to replace NM-NAM's

A customer of mine just received in two NME-NAM's to replace our old NM-NAM's. We have the current NM-NAM's installed in 3845 and then 3825 routers respectively.

Where can I find the latest code as well as procedures for configuring these new NME-NAM's?

Thanks

Kevin

Thanks for your response.  Do you also know where to pull down the IOS images for the NME-NAM?

Thank You

Kevin

Here is a good starting point

http://tools.cisco.com/support/downloads/go/Model.x?mdfid=280874744&mdfLevel=Sub-Category&treeName=Network%20Management&modelName=Cisco%20Branch%20Routers%20Series%20Network%20Analysis%20Module%20%28NME-NAM%29&treeMdfId=268439477

But you need a CCO account to download from Cisco.com

If the link above does not work somehow, you go to http://www.cisco.com -> Download Software -> Network Management -> (from the list) Network Analysis Module -> (extended list, first choice) NME-NAM

Good luck!

I am having some difficulty being able to communicate at all with our

new NME-NAM.

Here is the scenario:

We performed the graceful shutdown on the 3845 router.  I think the command was:

service-module analysis-module slot 1/0 shutdown

The command seemed to take successfully.  We pulled out the old NM-NAM, and then put the NME-NAM in its place.

For whatever reason, it does not seem like the NME-NAM is being seen by the router at all.

We are using IOS Version 12.4(25b) adv ip services on the 3825 router.

What do we need to do to be able to communicate with the NME-NAM?

Thanks

Kevin
