no interface in ConfigEditor

I tried to change device credentials using ConfigEditor, I choosed the overwrite option and when I look to the job summary - I see the commands no interface .... and interface and its configuration. I used it on Catalyst 2950. I have RME 4.0.4

Is it standard behavior and what it's mean?

Thank you

Re: no interface in ConfigEditor

ConfigEditor often negates the command before configuring it.

This is standard behavior.

Re: no interface in ConfigEditor

If it says no interface 0/10 in the job summary ....then the interface get's shut...U have to enable the particular interface .

Be Cautious while editing config editor ..it happened with me ,my banner was pushed too far.......after config editor did its job i was surprised to login to the core swicth....after rechecking job summary i rectified it....i prefer netconfig for username password changes were we can config at one shot for n numbers of selected

devices..

Re: no interface in ConfigEditor

thank you for your answer. I used NetConfig - I think that is better, because it makes the config change which I did:-) ConfigEditor has unpredictable config changes:-(
