Non Cisco Device support in CiscoWorks

I need to know is there a way to get an up/down status on devices i.e. azul, load balancers, foundry etc... that are non-cisco devices. My engineers is wanting to know if it suitable import these devices into CiscoWorks. I'm running LMS 3.0.1.

This is not possible. The only up/down notification features in LMS (syslog analysis and DFM) only support Cisco devices.
