Non recognized Cisco Devices in LSM 2.6

Hi,

I have three Cisco Catalyst Express 500 series switches on my network.

Only one of these switches is dsplayed on LMS 2.6 with the sign "?" (not recognized).

The two other swithes are directely connected to the the first one, but still not visibile in LMS.

I inform you that SNMP is enabled on all switches.

Somme other devices (Catalyst 3560) are also not visible in LMS even they are directly connected to visible devices that are defined as seed devices.

I send you a screen capture .

Any help please.

Re: Non recognized Cisco Devices in LSM 2.6

The CE500 devices are not supported by LMS, and there is no plan to add support for these devices. Cisco Network Assistant should be used to manage them instead. Since they are not supported, Campus will not learn any of their CDP neighbors which explains why the other two CE500 devices do not appear on the Topology Map.

As for the missing 3560s, you need to make sure their neighbors are showing up as known devices, and that the IP addresses of the missing switches are not filtered out in the Campus Manager Data Collection filters. Of course, these devices must also be present in DCR.
