Hi,

Any Cisco egineer here?

we have two more Object ID's that aren't in Cisco's products MIB list:

1.3.6.1.4.1.9.1.694 (some sort of 24 port 2960)

1.3.6.1.4.1.9.1.696 (some other sort of 24 port 2960)

Can Cisco update their MIBs?

You might want to open a TAC case so that this MIB can be updated on CCO and changes tracked

Thanks, But log TAC case will affect our gold partner statues,

More TAC case logged and less discount get from cisco.

Not all devices are supported by ciscoworks. There are different lists for RME, DFM, Campus etc.

Have you got the latest packages loaded in Ciscoworks? What version?

Cheers,

Michel

Be that as it may, no one on this forum has the authority to update this MIB on Cisco.com. See nhabib's reply on how to update a current version of the MIB with the correct entries. A TAC Service Request would be the way to make sure the MIB release people are aware that the MIB is deficient.

1.3.6.1.4.1.9.1.694 is catalyst296024

The entry in the CISCO-PRODUCTS-MIB would be:

catalyst296024 OBJECT IDENTIFIER ::= { ciscoProducts 694 } -- Catalyst 2960 24 10/100 ports + 2 dual purpose Gigabit Ethernet ports fixed configuration Layer 2 Ethernet switch.

1.3.6.1.4.1.9.1.696 is catalyst2960G24

The entry in the CISCO-PRODUCTS-MIB would be:

catalyst2960G24 OBJECT IDENTIFIER ::= { ciscoProducts 696 } -- Catalyst 2960 20 10/100/1000 ports + 4 dual purpose Gigabit Ethernet ports fixed configuration Layer 2 Ethernet switch.
