Obtaining the actual Model type

Does anyone know of a perl module that can obtain the actual model type of a cisco device

Not this :

Cisco IOS Software, 2800 Software (C2800NM-ADVIPSERVICESK9-M), Version 12.4(16), RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)

But this :

Cisco 2821 (revision 53.51) with 247808K/14336K bytes of memory.

I do hold the mibs, but they arent alway correct ..I suppose based on version.

The MIB objects system and sysObjectID should always return the correct info for the device.
