Hi Group,

Our Management division brought the Nagios Software and they asked me about the OID of the Memory Usage, CPU Usage and Service health of our PIX 535 Firewall

The exact requirement is the OID, Object Name, Object type, and the return value

I will really appreciate if you can tell me these parameters, also I will be grateful if you can

Learn me how to retrieve these values from Cisco Website for other products in the future.

I am really sorry for this basic question and I thank your help in advance

for CPU you'll want to look at the following objects from the CISCO-PROCESS-MIB:

cpmCPUTotal5sec

cpmCPUTotal1min cpmCPUTotal5min cpmCPUTotal5secRev

cpmCPUTotal1minRev cpmCPUTotal5minRev cpmCPUMonInterval cpmCPUTotalMonIntervalValue cpmCPUInterruptMonIntervalValue

for memory related objects look at the CISCO-MEMORY-POOL-MIB

you can find the MIB objects at www.cisco.com/public/mibs and select PIX Firewall.

Also, to translate this objects to numerical OID's go to:

http://tools.cisco.com/Support/SNMP/do/BrowseOID.do?local=en
