Port Utilization

Hi all. Can anyone help me determine the port utilization on a serial port for a 3640 router? When I do a show interface..I can see the in/out packets. Can someone offer me some pointers and threshholds?

can you differentiate what you meant by port utilization & in/out packets which you are seeing here..

AFAIK the parameters which you are seeing is the actual traffic being handled by the serial port of the router ..

I am wanting to find out if the port is over utilized. Such as bandwidth saturation. What are good rules of thumb for the amount of data that should flow through this type of port?
