Prime 2.0 Report Filenames and remote Repo

Hi,

we need the possibility to put scheduled reports to a remote Repo like a FTP-Server.

Does anyone know a solution for that without configuring strange Mailserver-Features? I can only configure the output-directory to /localdisk.

Another issue we have is the naming convension of these reports. We're unable to list the report-file by date, because the filename contains "april" which is everytime listed before "january". I hope to get a short hint to solve this problem.

Thank you.

Falk

You might could do something like this:::

1) go ahead to let the reports run and write to a/localdisk repository

2) add an entry in the crontab file that does something like this

30 0 * * * scp /localdisk/ftp/*.csv username@localmachine:path/to/destination

In the example above, the command will run each day at 12:30am.  You'll obviously need to set the crontab entry up to run AFTER the report jobs have completed

Maybe this will spark some ideas on how to accomplish what you're trying to do

Hi,

thank you.

I'll add some rename commands in front of it and try that in my lab.

thank you
