Hi All,

Need to know the below things.

Is it possible to forward the logs of network devices received in prime to some other third party log server for audit purpose?

How to see source and destination traffic output in prime GUI, as we can see in ip net flow export command?

What exactly is prime assurance.?

Thanks:)

Sure. With an Assurance license and Netflow data coming in from one of your devices you will see (at a minimum) source, destination, tcp port, and volume of traffic.

Cisco has a video on demand walking you through setting it up and demonstrating the entire thing. Please see it here:

Prasanesh,

Prime Infrastructure (PI) cannot act as a log forwarder. You would need to update the devices to send log messages to both PI and the other system.

Netflow data sources are one of the things enabled by the Prime Assurance license. Please see the table on the product data sheet (section with "Assurance" heading). Without that license, you cannot add a Netflow data source to PI. Once you have that, please refer to the Deployment Guide for some details on setting it up futher.

Thanks a lot Mr. Marvin.

Is it possible to see source as well as destination traffic flow or only source..?

Where i can see that?

Thanks again
