Also back then the license could not be installed in the common services part, but had to be installed in the application itself.
Maybe this is why it is not working? Where are you trying to install?
Also some licenses are based on the mac address of the server. If that is the case you must adapt the mac address on the server NIC card,(make sure old server mac is not in same lan) or request a new license for the different mac.
I find on doc that this is a noded-locked license:
