I would like to receive Alerts / Notifications when below incidents happen.

2. VLAN flapping.

3. A Major STP Changes.

4. When routing change happens

Kindly advice on the same could be configure the same on LMS.

Re: query on Alert/activity in LMS

The first three can happen simply by managing your devices in DFM, and configuring them to send traps to DFM. DFM has a built-in duplicate IP event, and will send events for interface flapping and STP changes provided device traps are configured.

The final event can be handled by sending syslog messages to RME. You can then configure a syslog automated action to send you email when routing-based syslog messages are received. Syslog automated actions can be configured under RME > Tools > Syslog > Automated Actions.

Re: query on Alert/activity in LMS

You need to configure a Notification Group as well as an Email Notification Subscription under DFM > Notification Services in order to receive email. If you choose to create an Event Set so that you only get emails on duplicate IP addresses, add the "Duplicate" event to your Event Set, then only check the following boxes in your Notification Group:

Event Severity:

Critical

Informational

Event Status:

Active

Cleared
