Question regarding remote NMS integration with CiscoWorks LMS 2.5

Hi,

Our Ciscoworks platform is on a Windows 2003 server, LMS 2.5

Our main NMS is HP Openview Operations with NNM on Solaris.

We want to run the integration utility but I am struggling to follow exactly how this works.

Do I download the windows integration utility and run it on Cisco works to integrate into our main solaris NMS, or do I download the solaris integration utility and run this on our NNM box?

Do I also need to download the NNM adapter file ? If so, where is this installed? On the Cisco Works server or the solaris NMS ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The utility needs to run in the NNM box, thus you would need the Solaris version.

You may specify where the NNM adapter file is located during the installation of the integration utility.
