RADIUS using IAS setup

I am wanting to setup a system where all my cisco devices (switches, firewalls, routers) will contact a central database to authenicate users so that we dont have one password for everyone and we can track who is doing what. I was told I can do this using my current server using IAS. Does anyone know the steps in doing this the right way for the cisco devices and the IAS server? I have done research but found too many conflicting documents.

Re: RADIUS using IAS setup

hi

the best to centralize ur authentication authorization and even accounting is to use a ACS access-secure server , a software from cisco that can be as an independant rackable appliance or a software that you can install in PC or a server and can be managed ny GUI interface. it communicate with your network device using tacacs or radius, or may be kerbross.
