Can anyone suggest a good RADIUS server for windows. I am using local AAA in all my equipment but I need to centralize my 40 devices.

There may even be some freeware but I am not positive.

Microsoft IAS? Comes with Windows Server and by default uses Active Directory (or local User Accounts on the server) for Client Authentication. It requires a bit of setup but not much.

You can get quite clever with different remote access polices checking against Windows Group Membership, NAS IP Address etc etc.
There are some limitations with Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition (max 50 clients), but with Windows 2000 and Server 2003 Exterprise you don't have these restrictions.

I havent used RADIUS before. It says that IAS supports many protocols. What do the cisco products use for AAA?

IAS is a Radius Server. Cisco products can use either Tacacs+ or Radius for AAA. I currently use IAS as the authenticator for TTY access to IOS devices and 802.1x EAP-TLS Authentication for Wireless clients.
