RCP config deploy in LMS 2.6 - not saving

Hi there

It seems that when deploying a private config file from a field device to a local hot-standby device using RCP as a deploument method, the configuration is deploying OK, but it is not saving. I was wondering if this was normal?

Steps we are taking

- opening a config from the shadow copy location in RME Config Editor

- save it as a private file

- Deploy config to a standby router (using RCP)

- Tick the box "Copy running to startup"

The goal here is to be able to do everything through the web interface at a Help Desk or 1st / 2nd level network technician level. The stanby router is on the local network with a static and simple configuration.

I'm guessing that the config is copying across OK, but for some reason not saving to startup config, possibly due to the IP address change?

It may be the reason is the private area. When a configuration from list of private config is opened and saved in the public area (user archive) with the same name as the private configuration, the private configuration with that name gets deleted.

However, the reverse is not true. That is when a config is opened from the public area (user archive) location and saved in the private area, the public configuration is not deleted.
