Restarting switches in NetConfig

Small issue I'm having when I run an adhoc command in NetConfig sending the command 'reload'. While the switch itself does infact restart, the NetConfig says that the job failed. It says failed as it times-out waiting for a response to the command (of course it does, the switch is restarting!). Is there a specific NetConfig job for reloading?

I'm running IOS updates and would like to restart the switches at a later date, can anyone suggest a solution for me, or perhaps what I'm doing wrong?

Re: Restarting switches in NetConfig

I think you can use

reload in 0:10

This should stop the job from reporting an error.

To be sure the box rebooted you can check the syslog "reload report"

Cheers,

Michel
