Restore LMS 2.5.1 across servers?

I have 2 Solaris LMS 2.5.1 servers running parrallel. They have the same config, obviously different IP's hostnames etc. There was a problem with the first box which means it had to be formatted.

My question is now, can i restore the databses from server 2 onto server 1 ? Failing that, how can i copy the archived configs from server 2 to server 1? These servers need to be independent of each other so setting up master/slave isnt an option.

Any ideas?

Try restoring a backup that you performed on server 2 onto server 1 using:

/opt/CSCOpx/bin/perl /opt/CSCOpx/bin/restorebackup.pl

So the backups dont contain any server independent link s or information presumably?

If the restore complains about something "not the same", try

/opt/CSCOpx/bin/perl /opt/CSCOpx/bin/restorebackup.pl -force -d /your/backup/directory
