A few things. One, the restore of RME can take hours depending on the number of devices, number of config revisions, number of syslog messages, and number of ChangeAudit records.
Also, there were many bugs in LMS 2.5 related to backup and restore. My advice to you is to upgrade this server to LMS 2.6, THEN restore your LMS 2.2 data. While it was certainly possible to restore 2.2 into LMS 2.5, you will have a better experience if you first get all possible bug fixes installed.
Even after the upgrade, be aware that the restore could take a long time. Keep an eye on the migration.log to see what is going on during the RME restoration.
