Restoring RME Data

I have two CSM servers with RME 4.0.4. Server 1 contains device groups, netconfig jobs and need to be migrate to server 2. Server 2 is a new install and I don't want to migrate CSM data. Is there a way to restore only RME data?

Theoritically, you could try "/opt/CSCOpx/bin/perl /opt/CSCOpx/bin/restorebackup.pl -s rme -d /path/to/backup -t /path/to/tempdir"

The -s option is no longer supported in LMS 2.5+ (RME 4.0+). The reason for this is DCR. We have to make sure all the applications are restored with respect to DCR. Therefore, the backup/restore is now an all or nothing thing.

Once the DCR is updated with a bulk import, is there a way to move the netconfig user templates?

The user templates will be restored along with everything else in the backup. However, if you just did a DCR export/import, then you cannot move the templates.
