RME 4.0.4 - Syslog Analyzer problem

On one of my CW LMS2.5 servers with RME4.0.4 installed I'm not able to see any syslog messages in the GUI, and the SyslogAnalyzer.log file is empty.

I can see that the syslog messages are added in the syslog.log file so it's probabply a problem with the SyslogAnalyzer.

I have restarted the SyslogAnalyzer process and even the entire server, but this does not help.

I'm running my CW on Windows Server 2003.

Any suggestions?

What do you see under RME --> Tools --> Syslog --> Syslog Collector Status

Is it showing any entries under any of the categories here?

You might want to enable debug for syslog:

Set logging level to "Debug" for SyslogAnalyzer and SyslogAnalyzerUI:

RME --> Admin --> System Preferences --> Loglevel Settings

Stop SyslogCollector and SyslogAnalyzer processes:

Common Services --> Server --> Admin --> Processes

In the $NMSROOT\MDC\tomcat\webapps\rme\WEB-INF\classes\com\cisco\nm\rmeng\csc\data\Collector.properties file, set "DEBUG_LEVEL=DEBUG".

Restart the above processes and then look in the SyslogCollector.log and SyslogAnalyzer.log for any errors or messages being written
